- Competitive daily rate of $2,700
- Dates: 15 August – 30 September
Overview:
Charterhouse Medical are looking for a Locum Senior Medical Officer for the following opportunity:
Pay Rate: $2,700 per day
Date Range: 15 August – 30 September
Clinic Hours: In accordance with the Customer’s roster. A working day will be no less than 8 hours.
Travel/Accommodation: Flights, car and accommodation provided.
Requirements: FRACGP, Current ALS2, proven experience as a Medical Officer, ideally in a primary care setting.
About the Practice:
The Joyce Palmer Health Service is a 15-bed primary-level acute facility located on the Aboriginal community of Palm Island. The hospital cares for all non-critically ill patients, including antenates, neonates, children, adults, and aged care. Critical patients are stabilised and transferred to Townsville University Hospital by Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) with a retrieval team.

Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, applicant must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA & Current ASL2 (or equivalent - “REST/ RESP”).
