Overview:

Charterhouse Medical are currently looking to speak with locum medical officers who would be interested in the following assignment.

Location: Northern Territory (NT)
Level: (FACRRM/FRACGP)
Area: Rural Generalist
Pay Rate: $2,700 per shift
Date Range: ASAP – June 2026
Roster: Mixed roster
Travel/Accommodation/Car hire: Provided

Must Have:

•    Current registration with AHPRA
•    FACRRM or FRACGP
•    Experience in working in a remote setting/Aboriginal health
•    Experience in working in Emergency Department in a remote setting
•    Criminal History Check

This is a fantastic opportunity for any FACRRM/FRACGP-qualified doctor with strong ED Skills who’s looking to secure a locum position in a beautiful and truly unique area of Northern Territory.

Gove District Hospital:

Gove District Hospital, located in Nhulunbuy on the Gove Peninsula, is a regional hospital with NT Health and services the East Arnhem region. •    We deliver a 24 hour service at Gove District Hospital and the region with modern equipment, including at CT Scanner
•    The hospital is a 30 bed acute care facility providing medical, surgical, paediatric, respite and maternity services
•    Patients from 15 remote communities are referred to the hospital for inpatient, outpatient and specialist care
