Virtual Emergency Department Doctor | Adelaide, SA:

We are currently supporting a major South Australian health service seeking experienced doctors for a Virtual Emergency Department (VED) role based in Adelaide.

This is a unique opportunity to deliver critical emergency care remotely, supporting rural and regional hospitals across South Australia.

The Role:

•    Position: Virtual ED Doctor
•    Location: Central Adelaide (on-site hub)
•    Start Date: ASAP
•    Contract: 3 months (likely extension)
•    Shifts: Night shifts only – 19:00 to 07:00
•    Workload: Approx. 12–20 cases per shift
•    Case Mix: Category 3–5 presentations (may involve multiple consults per case)

You’ll be working in a fast-paced telehealth environment, providing clinical oversight, triage, and management advice to rural sites.

Requirements:

•    FACRRM or FRACGP
