Overview:

Charterhouse Medical are looking for a Locum Senior Medical Officer for the following opportunity:

Locum Senior Medical Officer (GP/ED) Tara hospital, QLD

Requirements:  Private GP roster from 8am – 5pm with on-call in the ED until 8am. Also required to provide guidance and supervision to a Junior Doctor.

Pay Rate: $3,000 per day.

Date Range:  ASAP until Monday 10 July

Clinic Hours: 0800 – 1700

On call:  ED on – call from 17:00 – 8:00

Travel/Accommodation: flights, car and accommodation provided.

Tara hospital has eight available beds and offers emergency care, medical, palliative care and clinics, including outpatients services.

Location:

Tara is a rural town and locality in the Western Downs Region, Queensland, Australia.  Tara and its surrounds are a treat for the senses. The town has lovingly preserved its pioneering history in its museum while celebrating its multiculturalism with the biennial Tara Festival of Culture and Camel Races. Extend your trip by visiting Tara’s nearby towns of Meandarra, Moonie and Glenmorgan.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this position, applicant must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA & Current ASL2 (or equivalent - “REST/ RESP”).
