- Locum Remote GP Opportunity – Primary Health Care
- Located in Central Australia, Northern Territory
- Free Flights, Single accommodation, and Hire Car
- $1300 Per Day
The Opportunity
Seeking experienced GPs for a remote Primary Health Care clinic in the Northern Territory. You will enjoy the support of a multi-disciplinary team and fully computerised Medical Director software. Prior experience working in a Correctional Facility, or a similar remote community is highly desirable.
No. of days p/w: Mon-Friday 5 day
No. of hrs p/d: 8 hrs per day
Working time: 8am till 5pm
Any After hours in practice: NIL
Out of hours on call: NIL
The location
Located in Central Australia, one of Australia's great wilderness areas containing giant, red sand dunes and interesting rock formations. It is an important tourist hub and service centre for the surrounding area, with several large hotels, a world-class convention centre, and a good range of visitor attractions, restaurants, and other services.
Essential criteria
To apply for this role, you must hold FRACGP, VR or equivalent qualifications; and General or Specialist registration with AHPRA.
Experience the outback and provide some much-needed support in this remote correctional facility.
