Overview:

Charterhouse Medical are currently looking for Locum ED Senior Registrar/CMO for an upcoming locum assignment as per below:

Hospital: Launceston General Hospital
Level: ED Senior Registrar/ CMO
Area: Emergency Medicine 
Pay Rate: 

19/9/2024 - 06/11/2024
12/11/2024 - 05/01/2025

Night shift senior registrar (in-charge): 2400 per shift
Day/ Afternoon/ Evening: 1500 per shift (non-incharge shifts)

Payment Method: Payroll via Charterhouse Medical  

Roster Pattern:
Days, Evenings, Night shifts and Weekends

• •    Locum Senior ED registrars only.
• •    Should be able to be the Lead registrar on night shifts. 
• •    Regional referral hospital and ACEM training site in a lovely city.
• •    Fly in directly from major Australian airports to LST Airport just 12 min away from hospital.
• •    No solo nights. 
• •    All nights staffed by 1senior & 1-2 Jnr registrars, and 2-3 JMOs.
• •    Multiple FACEMs on site from 0800-2400.
• •    FACEM on-call from 2400-0800.
• •    Most key sub-specialties on site, including 24/7 Cath lab, ECMO-capable ICU etc. 
• •    Once the locum doctor’s available dates are offered, a mix of full-time equivalent shifts shall be rostered and informed via agency.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this position, applicant must have General Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
