VR/Non-VR General Practitioner - Private Telehealth

About the Role:

We are seeking Telehealth VR and Non-VR GPs to join a leading healthcare organisation in Australia for Private Telehealth sessions.This leading organisation works in many different areas including weight management, men and women’s health and skin. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional telehealth care to patients. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting consultations, diagnosing, prescribing medication when necessary, and effectively managing medication side effects. You will also provide ongoing clinical support, respond to medical issues, and contribute to the development of enhanced care models and support programs to achieve superior patient outcomes.

About You:

Qualified Health Professional: A General Practitioner with general AHPRA registration with no restrictions, ensuring your capacity to deliver comprehensive healthcare. Or alternatively, a General Practitioner with Specialist AHPRA registration with no restrictions. VR GPs on moratorium are welcome to apply.

Passion for Telehealth and Primary Care: Your demonstrated experience in primary care conditions, coupled with your telehealth expertise, is highly valued for this role.

Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in navigating digital applications for clinical practice, utilising technology to enhance patient care. *This is a Bring your own suitable device role*

Experienced Decision-Maker: Your clinical expertise enables you to make timely and precise referral decisions, even in high-pressure situations.

Clear Communicator: You excel in clear and concise communication, ensuring effective interactions with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.

Heart: Patients appreciate their interactions with you, feeling safe and supported in your care, leading to continued engagement.

Availability: Be able to work a flexible roster of a minimum 6 hours per week (3 hours per shift, with the occasionally 1 hour shift, if required) 7 days a week between the hours of 0800 to 0000 daily.

A minimum 3-month locum contract is preferred but on-going/longer locum commitment is desirable.

Rate: The rate is non-negotiable at

• $125 per hour + GST for Non-VR GPs and

• $145 per hour + GST for VR GPs/FRACGP/FACRRM
