Staff Specialist or Visiting Medical Officer in O&G Needed

Charterhouse Medical are currently recruiting for either a Staff Specialist or Visiting Medical Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Regional NSW Permanent full time or permanent part time (2.0FTE available).

The position involves:
• Both inpatient and outpatient services
• Participating in the Obstetric on-call roster
• Participation in Manning Hospital’s active training program in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Participation in quality improvement activities and Peer Review

About the Hospital: 160 beds and provides a broad range of specialist services including Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthesia, General, Urology and Orthopaedics Surgery, Internal Medicine, Renal and Oncology services.

Location Mid North Coast of New South Wales, just 3 hours north of Sydney, 2 hours north of Newcastle and 1 hour south of Port Macquarie. The hospital serves a population of around 100,000 people. The Region is home to a range of some of the best beaches in Australia. The area is surrounded by magnificent national parks.

Applicants must hold a medical degree registrable with AHPRA and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Applicants expecting to be elected to Fellowship in the coming months may be considered.
