Overview:
With multiple opportunities available across various departments, Charterhouse Medical are currently looking to engage with locum Medical Registrars who are seeking a locum placement in Tasmania, during Term 3, from August – November 2022.
Level: Registrar
Area: General Medicine
Location: Royal Hobart Hospital
Rate: $140 per hour worked
Date Range: 08/08/2022 – 06/11/2022
Roster: Rotational roster covering days, evenings and nights.
Travel & Accommodation: Provided (private accommodation/ air bnb options available!)
Comments:
Join one of six medical teams.
Each team consists of a consultant, 1-2 registrars and 1-2 interns.
Each team manages an average of 15-20 patients per day with an approximate 15-20 admissions per day through ED.

Location: Royal Hobart Hospital
Rate: $140 per hour worked

Roster: Roster consisting of day shifts only
Travel & Accommodation: Provided (private accommodation/ air bnb options available!)
Comments:
HITH currently has 12 beds, with the scope to increase to 24 as the service expands.
At present receiving 40 referrals per month and an average length of stay of 5 days
Case mix and patient age is broad
Additional Comments:
Position is supported by a consultant and an on-call physician (24h per day).
Hospital flexible on duration of booking.

Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, applicant must have General Registration with AHPRA.
