The Position:
This is an incredible opportunity to work as an ICU Registrar in Canberra’s largest facility.
- Tertiary level, mixed adult Intensive Care
- Admitting over 2500 patients a year
- Accredited by the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) for 2 years of core training and for the sub-specialities of Trauma, Cardiothoracic, and Neurosurgery
Senior registrar positions are accredited for training in Anaesthesia and Emergency Medicine.

The Facility:
A large facility with more than 650 beds, it is the main teaching facility for the Australian National University and caters to a population of over 550,000.
The Hospital provides a wide range of services across more than 25 buildings on its campus, including acute inpatient and day services, outpatient services, women's and children's services, paediatrics and pathology. Additionally, the facility provides care to all major medical specialities - oncology, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, infectious diseases, neonatology, paediatric gastroenterology, palliative care, rehabilitation, respiratory, pain specialists and a vast array of different surgeon specialities.
Eligibility:
- Currently hold AHPRA Registration (General, Provisional or limited registration)
- Competent Authority doctors at least PGY4 encouraged to apply (UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, NZ trained)
- IMG (International Medical Graduate) doctors with the above experience and training from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore or Taiwan, encouraged to apply
