• An excellent opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time General Practitioner in a well-established, Holistic and family friendly practice.

• GP VMO opportunities available at Grafton Base hospital & Nursing home if desired
• 65% of Mixed billings, $1200 per day guarantee for 3 months

The Role

This practice is looking for an AHPRA registered General Practitioner to join on a full-time basis. Weekends are optional. You will generally be working Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30PM. This practice works with a diverse patient group, across all ages. Your role will be to increase your patient base while committing long term to this practice and community.

The Location

This practice is ideally located on the Mid north coast. It is just 45 mins drive north from Coffs Harbour on the Pacific hwy and only 3hrs drive North to the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise and 4 hrs to the city of Brisbane. It is also only a 45min drive north to Yamba and 2 hrs to Byron Bay. A short 1-hour flight will take you directly to Sydney from Coffs coast airport or Grafton regional airport. A 2-hour flight from Ballina or Coffs Harbour will take you directly to Melbourne.

This area is well known for its reputable public, catholic education and private schools while making it an ideal place to raise your family. Magnificent beach areas and stunning national reserve bush land surround this beautiful Jacaranda city. The local marine parks are the ideal place to spend your free time fishing, diving, snorkelling, or boating. The mighty Clarence River is the biggest in the Southern hemisphere and boasts an international venue for sailing and rowing. We also celebrate the annual Jacaranda festival. Grafton is known as Jacaranda City and hosts several private day care and childcare centres that are all within a 5-minute drive of the medical practice. Primary schools include Clarence Valley Anglican School kindergarten to yr12(private), St Mary’s Catholic Primary school (private) Westlawn Primary, Grafton Infants and Grafton primary Schools are all public. Three Universities are all within driving distance starting with Coffs Harbour, Lismore, and UNE at Armidale.

The Practice

The practice is 6 years old and opened for the increasing patient demand for the expansion of this regional area.

You will be working in a small but highly efficient and supportive team of GP's, part time nursing and full-time administration staff. The practice boasts brand-new, user-friendly computer systems. There is an onsite pathologist and podiatrist, while dentists and allied health professionals are within arm's reach to the practice.

This is a practice that is seeking a GP who is more focused on holistic healthcare and optimising the patient experience. You will be joining a team that is very friendly and believe in a happy workplace. The team will go out of their way to make you feel settled and part of the team. We use Best Practice software.
