Charterhouse Medical are currently recruiting 2 Surgeons in Coastal QLD.
Location
Set in coastal QLDs, discover arts and culture, delicious dining options, indulge on fine wine and experience their world class attractions
First position:
Preference will be given to a candidate with a sub-specialty interest in Colo-rectal Surgery. The appointed candidate would be expected to work with the existing Colo-rectal surgeon to deliver a high-quality Colo-rectal service to CQHHS.
Second position:
Preference will be given to a candidate with a sub-specialty interest in breast surgery, preferably with onco-plastic experience. The appointed candidate will be expected to work with the existing Breast surgeon to deliver a comprehensive Breast Care service across CQHHS.
The Role
Assist the Director of Surgery in ensuring that General Surgery services provided by CQ Health are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner. The position assists with the education and supervision of surgical trainees and other medical staff, medical students, and other staff as well as in the day to day management of surgical services including active participation in patient safety, clinical audit, research and service planning activities.
They are looking for good team players with the willingness to contribute in developing/improving and assisting the Surgical team.
Key Qualifications /Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in General Surgery with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA). In general this will require Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in the speciality of General Surgery, or support from the College for Staff Grade General Surgeon status in an Area of Need.
