Our client is seeking an experienced consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to provide obstetrics and gynaecology inpatient and outpatient services in this rural Hospital, as well as participate in the obstetric on-call roster.
The hospital has 160 beds including 20 Mental Health beds and provides a broad range of specialist services including Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthesia, General, Urology and Orthopaedics Surgery, Internal Medicine, Renal and Oncology services.
The position involves:
- Both inpatient and outpatient services
- Participating in the Obstetric on-call roster
- Participation in active training programs in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
About the area:
Located on the Lower Mid North Coast of New South Wales, just 3 hours north of Sydney. The hospital serves a population of around 100,000 and is home to some of the best beaches in Australia.
Job Requirements
- Eligibility to live and work in Australia
- Registration with AHPRA is essential to working in Australia as doctor
- We are ideally looking for candidates who are FRANZCOGs but will also consider candidates with consultant level experience in comparable health countries.
