Job description
We currently have an opportunity for a Staff Specialist to join the CAMHS team based in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
The Child and Adolescent Service compromises of a multidisciplinary team providing assessment and treatment of young people aged 0-18 and their families with moderate to severe mental health problems. The Child and Adolescent Team is based in the Community providing in reach to the Emergency Department, Paediatric Unit and Mental Health Inpatient Unit as required.
In addition, provide professional leadership within psychiatry and provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care members.
To be considered you will require MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia plus FRANZCP or equivalent acceptable to the Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and registrable as a specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Or ability to obtain such within the next 6 months.
