You'll be working as a Specialist Physician providing support to the ED department, however the long goal is to officially set up your own private practice within the hospital - being provided the necessary equipment and support needed.
You will be expected to seek referrals and build your database of patients, this will be over a 12-month or 24-month contract where you will have a retainer and billings offered as well as allowances.
Once you have set up what you need in order to succeed, they'll then stop the remuneration package in which you'll earn off of your own billings paying a percentage to the hospital. Once you're set up, the earning potential could be anything up to $1 million a year or more - dependent on how your practice is progressing.
The requirements for this will be:
- FRACP Specialist
- AHPRA registration
