Specialist Anaesthetics – 3 month role.

Job description

• The dates are 19th June - 9th August with the view to extend.
• 1/13 on call approx. If covering overnight on call you will not be rostered to work the following morning list. 
• Weekly blocks and long term roles available

Overview:  

Woven between the mountains and the sea, this regiona is a breath-taking tapestry of colour, encompassing quaint villages, national parks, marine reserves, islands, mountain escarpments and miles of sandy beaches. Located half way between Sydney and Brisbane and with daily flights to both. Walking secluded beaches, rocky headlands and the nearby hinterland as well as bike riding, four-wheel driving, fishing, diving, whale watching and surfing are all popular activities for those living and working here. We are a 250 bed acute regional hospital with planning well underway for the announced $194 million expansion of our campus.
 
We are looking for motivated Specialist Anaesthetists to work within our enthusiastic team to provide outstanding clinical care to our patients. You will be expected to provide a full range of Anaesthetic services, to participate in the On Call roster and to support the education and development of our Anaesthetic Registrars, Junior Medical Officers, Medical Students, Nursing and Allied Health staff.  

Selection Criteria:

You will need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with appropriate AHPRA registration as a Specialist Anaesthetist (or eligibility for same). An interest in Acute Pain management, Research, Obstetrics and/or Trauma would be advantageous
