Job description
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist to join the CYMHS team based at Robina and Southport on the Gold Coast.
The purpose of the role will be to provide acute and continuing clinical care to clients of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) and clinically manage, on a day to day basis, the associated multidisciplinary client care team to ensure the provision of appropriate consumer care.
In addition, provide professional leadership within psychiatry and provide training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care members.
To be considered you will require MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia plus FRANZCP or equivalent acceptable to the Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and registrable as a specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Or ability to obtain such within the next 6 months.
