Doctors in Training 2021 (Registrar) - Multiple Positions

The Tasmanian Psychiatry Training Program (TPTP) is currently recruiting for positions at all stages, including some advanced training positions.

The TPTP offers a comprehensive state-wide training program in psychiatry, with placements in subspecialties including Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Forensic, Consultation Liaison, Addiction, Old Age, Perinatal, Community, Rehabilitation and Private Psychiatry. Rotations are based in both Hobart and Launceston with expanding options as mental health reforms build on the existing services.

Trainees can complete their entire training in Tasmania with the option of most advanced training certificates. The TPTP offers a comprehensive Formal Education Course (FEC) and a highly successful examination preparation course. There are regular training events for psychiatrists at which registrars are welcome.

With approximately 30 trainees across the state the TPTP offers a more personal program with strong support from training, supervisors and service as well as an active peer network.
