The Position:
This is an incredible opportunity to work as a full time, permanent O&G Consultant/Staff Specialist at a major hospital in rural NSW.
  
Provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to a community that has approximately 1000 births per year.   
 
The Location:
Located in rural NSW, this location has a population of around 70,000 people and \it hosts the largest country music festival in the southern hemisphere and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
 
In addition to its strong music culture, this city has a range of other amenities and attractions, including parks, museums, and galleries. It is also surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a gateway to the New England region, which has a rich agricultural history and is known for its natural beauty. 
 
The Facility:
The 300-bed hospital is the biggest healthcare facility in NSW outside the Sydney-Wollongong-Newcastle metropolis.
 
The hospital provides specialist services to a population of around 70,000 people and is the referral hospital for the region.  These include general medicine, gastroenterology, mental health, kidney medicine, maternity, urology, orthopaedics and oncology and many other specialty areas. 
 
Practicing medicine in a rural city like this can offer unique and rewarding experiences. Rural communities often have strong social connections and doctors can make a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of their patients.
 
Eligibility:

1. Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a FRANZCOG
2. Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
3. IMG’s eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
4. SIMG’s assessed by RANZCOG College as Substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RANZCOG may express their interest)
