Mental Health Intake Nurse to join a highly skilled nursing team to triage referrals and to complete intake and support people

The company-

NFP organisation provides services within Central Eastern Public Health network, running a program to provide evidence based clinical mental health services and links to health and psychosocial supports in a primary health care setting, to meet the needs of people who experience severe mental illness.

The role-

• Be part of a team that provides person-centred services.

• Triage referrals, including contacting the referrer and people referred

• Opportunity to manage a small caseload alongside clinical nurses

• Set up Salesforce files for each referral

• Assign referral to Program mental health nurses

What`s on offer –

• Monday to Friday 9am -5pm, no shifts, weekends and on- call

Requirements-

• AHPRA registered Nurse

• Extensive experience as a mental health nurse and knowledge of the NSW mental health system and local services

• An understanding of the recovery- based approach to assisting people with severe and persistent mental illness

• Willingness to receive training required
