Provide a comprehensive range of community mental health services for adult and older people in the Northern Beaches local government area. Community Mental Health Care for adult and older people, assertive outreach service and Mental Health Liaison Service
Has responsibility for working to provide seamless clinical care to the community that they respectively serve.
The Unit Clinical Director is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of:
Senior and Junior Community Medical Workforce, Clinical Governance, clinical quality and safety, clinical key performance indicators, the implementation and evaluation of clinical service plans and models of care, best practice clinical care (including ECT, psychological, psychosocial and pharmacological interventions), system improvements to ensure the highest quality of care and safety for consumers.
The Unit Clinical Director will be allocated 2 sessions for managerial duties (0.2 FTE / 8 hours per week), 5 sessions for structured clinical activities (0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week) and one session for teaching and educational activities (0.1 FTE / 4 hours per week) as well participate in the after-hours on-call roster.
