This established GP practice in the heart of Nelsons Bay is looking for a FRACGP to join their experienced team to replace a Doctor who is off to pursue an interest in another area of medicine.
 
This DWS practice opens its doors to patients Mon, Wed & Fri 8am-5pm, Tue & Thu 8-7pm & Sun 9-12pm and can offer a new GP flexibility around the hours they choose to work.   A truly mixed patient demographic, you will be granted full autonomy over how you manage your lists, with a guarantee of four patients per hour. 
 
The practice is purpose built and modern throughout and as a General Practitioner you will benefit from support from over 14 admin staff, four Practice Nurses and integrate Allied Health including: Physio, Psychological, Podiatry, Dietitian and Occupational Therapists.  There is also Pathology & Imaging next door and two pharmacies less than 50 metres away from the Practice. 
 
Nelsons Bay is truly one of the most beautiful towns on the NSW coastline.  Just two and half hours North of Sydney and stone’s throw away from Newcastle, if you enjoy the outdoor lifestyle then you will be right at home here.  Home to some of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches you can imagine, you can enjoy Whale watching, dolphins, sailing, golf, quad-biking, horse riding, fishing, kayaking and cyclin.   If all that gets too much, then you can sample some of the local wineries or dine out at some fantastic waterfront restaurants.
 
Essential Criteria

• VR registered GP, Fellowship or equivalent
• Already located in Australia
• Strong work ethic and commitment to practicing the best medicine in the best way for our patients
• General Registration or above with AHPRA
