Job description
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a multi-disciplinary, 30 bed, Level 3 facility. The unit is staffed with specialised Intensive Care nursing and medical personnel who treat and care for approximately 1,200 Intensive Care patient admissions per year.
The department has 24-hour Intensive Care medical coverage by qualified Intensive Care Specialists
Nursing staff to patient ratio of 1:1 exists for critically ill patients and 1:2 for others.
