GP VMO Clinic Work with the Option to Locum into Surrounding Towns and ED dept

Job description

I am working alongside a Client currently who has an extremely varied role which can be tailored to suit the successful candidate(s).
 
Predominantly, they are looking for someone for someone to head up the GP Clinic attached to the hospital, which would include on-calls. However, the successful candidate would then have the option to be Locum’d (via the hospital), into the ED department at $1600 per day – I'd like to reiterate, this is optional. You are able to then add more variety to this role, by taking days out to support 3 small towns within the area who fall under the same health board, this is due to a shortage of GP’s in the area currently – for these days, please look at 70% as a minimum as it’s negotiable.
 
Using best practice software, you will be required to see 4 patients per hour when within the GP Clinic.
 
The 140 bedded hospital is a fully integrated rural public health service, employing just short of 500 staff, servicing a 100km area and within just over 300km of Melbourne.
