Gin Gin - DWS - GP – 70% of billings

Job description

 A 'DWS' position is available to a VR or Non VR General Practitioner in Gin Gin to replace a retiring GP and take over an existing patient list.
 
The patient base is quite extensive and although you will be busy seeing a variety of presentations, the appointment system allows you to practice in the old-fashioned way with a mixture of 10 & 20 minute appointments.
 
A fully Bulk Billing practice with a computerised system using Best Practice software. They provide all equipment, excellent staff and nursing support. The nurses co-ordinate chronic disease management, diabetes care, veterans care, vaccinations for children, travel and influenza. This clinic provides healthcare to the local Gin Gin area, as well as the local rural community.
 
Gin Gin is a lovely country town 45 minutes from the city of Bundaberg and a 4.5 hour drive from Brisbane. In Gin Gin you can enjoy the serenity of country living while still having the necessary facilities available such as a hospital, chemist, pathology lab, schools, shops, pubs, restaurants and weekly markets with fresh produce, arts and crafts.
 
In order to be eligible for this exciting role, applicants must be entitled to General or Full Australian registration.
