As the Director – Registrar Psychiatry Training you main focus of duties will be to:
 
Develop, implement and manage the Registrar (Psychiatry) Training Program in accordance with relevant legal requirements and professional competencies, Agency policies, procedures and strategic plans, and in accordance with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

Collaborate with the regional Clinical Directors, Medical Director and Clinical Executive
Director of Statewide Mental Health Services, and other relevant stakeholders, in the
development, implementation and management of the Training Program.

Provide leadership and direction to ensure that all aspects of the Training Program run smoothly, and the quality of training is maintained through all stages of the program.

The Director – Registrar Training within Psychiatry will provide leadership and direction to ensure that all aspects of the Training Program run smoothly, and the quality of training is maintained through all stages of the program.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding of, and familiarity with the RANZCP Competency Based Fellowship Program with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, especially other Mental Health Service Providers
