Charterhouse Medical are currently recruiting for a Clinical Lead Obstetrics and Gynaecology in this regional hospital which is part of CQ Health District.

The Hospital
This is a 70 bed hospital and caters to a regional population of approximately 65,000 incorporating smaller rural/coastal settlements within its catchment area. The hospital provides a range of services including general medicine, emergency medicine and surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, high dependency and coronary care, medical imaging, palliative care, pathology and mental health services. In addition, there are additional services delivered via outreach and community based, facilities.

What you'll be doing
The Clinical Lead, as part of the CQ Health Obstetrics, Gynaecology and maternity network, leads and manages the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team within the Hospital enabling high-quality, contemporary services integrated within the clinical services framework of facilities within CQ Health. Liaison and coordination with the network and other clinical departments is critical as is ongoing service development and teaching so as to provide for a sustainable service.

To be suitable for this role you will need to meet one of the following criteria:

• MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• FRANZCOG: Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists or equivalent eligible for registration as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Driver licence (Class C)
