In order to be eligible for this exciting role, applicants must be entitled to General or Full Australian registration. With that in mind, Vocational and non-Vocational applicants will be considered.
The patient base at this well-established practice albeit extensive, this feels alleviated due to their appointment system which allows you to practice in the old-fashioned way with a mixture of 10 and 20 minute appointments.
This practice is fully bulk billing and use Best Practice software. Should you be successful, you will have a great support infrastructure around you, made up of both clinical and npn-clinical staff. The Nurses co-ordinate Chronic Disease, Chronic Disease Management, Diabetes care, Veterans care, Vaccinations for Children, Travel and Influenza.
This Clinic provides healthcare to the local area, as well as the local rural community.
Although there will be no need to venture out from this lovely, picturesque Country town. If you did feel the need to explore a little, you are a 45 minute drive from Bundaberg and a little further at just over 4 hours drive is Brisbane. You will experience the best of both worlds in this role, enjoying the serenity of Country living whilst also being able to use good schools, good hospitals, chemists/pathology labs in close proximity and also the norms that make your life a little easier (supermarkets, pubs, restaurants etc.)
This practice is AGPAL accredited with professional and friendly nursing/admin staff. Covering all the below aspect of General Practice such as:
