Job description

We have the following opportunities for Advanced Training positions based in Sydney
Perinatal Psychiatry - 6-month term
- Suitable for Advanced Training in Consultation- Liaison Psychiatry, General Adult Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and the Psychotherapies
- Antenatal and postnatal ambulatory care and inpatient maternity care
- One session per week clinical attachment to the Aboriginal Medical Service Redfern
- One day per fortnight with Perinatal Psychiatry at Campbelltown
Psycho-Oncology - 6-month term
- Suitable for Advanced Training in Consultation- Liaison Psychiatry (core term), General Adult Psychiatry and the Psychotherapies
- Based at the cancer centre providing holistic care to those with cancer and their carers
- Part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for ambulatory clinics and inpatient assessments
- Includes close interactions with Psychology as well as involvement with the Chronic Pain service and Palliative Care service
Transplant Psychiatry - 6-month term
- Suitable for Advanced Training in Consultation- Liaison Psychiatry (core term), General Adult Psychiatry and the Psychotherapies
- Embedded in the liver transplant team but also exposure to the renal transplant service, both of which are multidisciplinary teams
- Responsible for ambulatory clinics and inpatient assessments
- Close interactions with Liver Drug Health service
- Opportunity for limited consultation work with the rest of the general hospital
Consideration will be given to progression in the RANZCP Advanced Training programmes.
